How To Do Affirmations for Abundance and. . .
Why It’s An Important Ritual For Your “Wealth Being”
Hi, this is the Life Guidance Angel! How are you today? Perfect. I hope you’re having a wonderful day. Today I wanted to discuss with you the importance of affirmations for abundance. Now sometimes people grow up in households where there is a scarcity mentality and it’s really unfortunate. When that happens it’s sad because we can start to develop a worldview that doesn’t serve us. So when we become adults we might not attract money as easily or freely as we had hoped. So I want you to first ask yourself. If you’ve ever heard your parents or neighbor say things like, “Well money doesn’t grow on trees”, or alternatively if anyone has ever told you, “We can’t afford that- it’s too expensive.” Or if another person may have asserted, “Oh rich people are bad; “They’re evil; they’ve screwed everyone over so that they could get to the top.”
If you’ve heard any of these statements while growing up, there is a chance that you could have some limiting beliefs that have been accidentally or intentionally (because sometimes people have nefarious purposes) programmed into your subconscious mind. Now, this is very unfortunate because you could be the type of person who invests lots of resources, money, time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears into personal development, self-improvement, and professional development.
Well, if this is your issue or you can relate to anything that I’ve said, I want you to make a comment in the box below this article. And I want to start a conversation. I have some ideas that can help you because I’ve been where you are, and I’ve had to spend many, many years really doing a lot of research to try to attract abundance into my life. I mean I’ve read all the books that I could possibly find in the bookstores, in the libraries, I’ve spent countless hours on YouTube, and taking courses. I’ve done the work, and I want to take this opportunity to summarize and give you a synopsis of what I’ve learned.
This is your introduction to the importance and relevance of abundance affirmations. I strongly believe in the power of affirmations. Now, whether you’re new to affirmations, or you have a lot of experience with affirmations, you may know that Louise Hay is considered the “Queen of Affirmations” and I just love her- I adore her actually. I have so much respect for the lady. She has the voice of an angel, and she has a heart of gold. So I encourage you also to pick- up books, such as “You Can Heal Your Life.”
& really ingest, & digest, what she has to teach. What I’m going to do, is guide you and point you to the resources so that you too can attract abundance. I’ve listened to Bob Proctor’s affirmations about money/wealth and I think the focus with his videos- about attracting wealth is all about repetition, like maybe 100 or 1,000 times- have just a few or even a couple of affirmations that you repeat. Now, I don’t know what your focus is like. Can you repeat one affirmation 100 times every day? If you can, that’s awesome! Or do you want to get a little bit more in-depth? So that’s something for you to think about.
While you think about that; please take a moment. I do believe that it is best, and research shows, (including some positive psychologists and articles that I’ve discovered in positive psychology). APA type articles, and journals, etc.
that performing affirmations in front of a mirror in the morning, when you first wake up, is one of the best times, and a second-best time also the most optimum time is right before you go to bed.
So, you have healthy, wonderfully life-giving and breathing thoughts that will enter your subconscious mind as you lull yourself to sleep. I also know that it’s important to have relaxing music that you can set to some of your affirmations. Thus, when you start your affirmations if you go to your mirror; Smile. Put your hand on your heart, or on your head, or just touch yourself in a way that you can anchor the emotion. This is something I learned from psychological techniques and (NLP) Neuro-linguistic Programming. I’m actually a Motivational Coach. I have the certificate and training, trained in (NLP)- Neuro-linguistic Programming, Motivational, and Life Coaching. Now you know a little bit more about my credentials;
I know what I’m talking about.
I’ve also been researching personal development since I was 14 years old. Most of the personal development and self-improvement books that I’ve read over the years include some affirmations, so it’s really advantageous. When you can utilize that data, that knowledge and really tailor it to who you are, and also take affirmations and use the words that you would normally use. For example, something I like to say is, “Money flows to me easily and freely.” Now your turn. “Money flows to me easily and freely.”
“I am abundant.”
“I am abundant.”
“I attract money and all of the resources that I need in order to fulfill my life’s purpose.” “ I attract money and all of the resources that I need in order to fulfill my life’s purpose.”
That was a long one.
Some affirmations are short and sweet. This makes them super easy to remember. Other affirmations might be a little bit longer, but it’s really beneficial to be precise because I want you to understand the power of your thoughts, your emotions, and the words you speak.
The Bible, the Holy Scriptures declare, “The power of life and death is in the tongue.” Every day, when you wake up, I want you to be cognizant- truly be aware, mindful, and think about how you use your tongue. I don’t just mean when you look at- lick an ice cream cone- or dairy-free, and gluten-free, (They do have gluten-free ice cream, right?) ;)
Or additional fun ways you might use your tongue, such as when French kissing. (Ahhhh, ooh isn’t that part and parcel of bliss? When you speak: Do you speak words to build other people up; to recognize their potential?
Do you do it for yourself?
Do you speak words to edify yourself? Do you use your tongue to encourage yourself? I would truly love for you to reflect on that. We will be held responsible for every word that comes out of our mouths.
Let’s be sure that we don’t speak words idly or carelessly. A technique that I enjoy using if someone says something which is inappropriate is I take a couple of deep breaths. A mentor of mine actually taught me to say, “Ommmm, kind of silently or to repeat the sound because it’s a healing vibration, the
frequency is quite high, if anyone is curious about it. (A side note, he spent a chunk of time in Tibet and gained some very special nuggets of wisdom.)
The other thing that I tend to do is to be aware of my body posture and position and consciously relax my muscles.
If someone is spewing out something hurtful; I do my best to block their cruel words.
Actually, someone that I know, who is a psychologist, a therapist, she has a technique that she explained to me. When she’s sitting down and she’s counseling a patient; she will actually take her hand and place it over her belly. That’s a method to guard and protect herself from taking in the toxic energy because you never know what’s going to come out of a person’s “undisciplined/untrained” mouth. I also heard that it really helps. I want you to do that the next time someone is saying something toxic or negative to you. Of course, I hope that doesn’t happen.
However; we all know how some people behave. We would love to think that everyone is good and has good intentions, but unfortunately, not everyone
does. Hence, I want to arm you with tools to protect your heart and to protect your spirit. Guard your eye gates and your ear gates.
Let’s continue with some more abundance affirmations. “Everything I need comes to me on time.”
With me- “Everything I need comes to me on time.”
Now, there’s something that my mother used to say to me and I really relished it because she said it was more effective when you added some emotion and said it in a sing-songy way, — “Wonderful work for wonderful pay.”
With me- “Wonderful work for wonderful pay.”
That’s one of my favorites because it’s easy to recall. Sometimes we might go through the day feeling particularly chipper or cheerful, and we might have a tune that we hum. I think that’s a delightful affirmation to mutter under your breath or maybe even let someone overhear it. Yes, they might need it. You never know. So, in that regard. I also believe that self-love is at the root.
When you love yourself and you show yourself plenty of self-care and self-love, you will recognize your worth. And when you know your worth and you’re confident of your worth. You can then demand and command more than a fair wage for your services. I would like you to ponder that as well.
“I have all of the talents that I need to succeed.”
With me.- “ I have all of the talents that I need to succeed.”
Isn’t that uplifting?
“Everything is within you that you need to succeed.” Take that a step further. What’s important is to cultivate and develop your natural skills, talents, and abilities. And that comes through following the Principles of Mastery and the Law of Use.
The more you practice, see practice doesn’t make perfect. That’s incorrect. Practice actually makes “permanent patterns of performance.” So with me.
I want you to give this statement as a command to your subconscious mind and your conscious mind because I hope you know they’re always listening.
I want you to be aware of that. And that is, “I practice my passion daily.”
“ I practice my passion daily.” Excellent. Now, one of the keys to attracting more abundance into your life is to be magnetic and attractive.
Charisma with character is important. You can develop
more magnetism and attraction.
By so doing, and applying precise principles, you will reap wonderful results. So I want you to repeat,
“I easily attract the people I need to fulfill my destiny.”
“I easily attract the people I need to fulfill my destiny.” Excellent. You’re doing an amazing job. I encourage you to share these affirmations, practice them, and remember the more you can practice them daily, the better because you want to create some new neural circuits in your brain. That will help you to raise your self-esteem and attract all that you desire.
And on that note, I want you to consider a thought here.
And that is: What is your definition of money?
Another question. What is your attitude about money? If you can view money as a tool, as energy, and as currency. Currency can be used to build an orphanage. Equally, that currency can be used to fund education; that currency can be used to buy food, a house, a car, etc. So I urge you to have a very healthy and balanced view/perspective of money. Don’t allow any negative or poverty minded people to influence your concept of money because the more resources you have, the more good you can do in this world. I implore you to meditate on that.
Love and Light,
Your Life Guidance Angel
